i wish
I wish I were a mermaid that glides around the sea
I wish I was a fairy that flies around with glee
I wish I had power that no one would believe
I wish that I had eternal wealth with which I would give charity
I wish I did not have to fear things the way that I do
I wish I could concentrate and be more like you
I wish I was beautiful, as gorgeous as the sunj
I wish I was famous and as graceful as a swan
I wish I had a boy who was very fond of me
I wish that I wrote a book that everyone would read
I wish that I was popular, the one everyone followed
I wish that I would not gain too much weight from the food I swallowed
I wish I would stop wishing for things that I am not
I wish this last wish allot
I wish I was a fairy that flies around with glee
I wish I had power that no one would believe
I wish that I had eternal wealth with which I would give charity
I wish I did not have to fear things the way that I do

You’re Not Here
I look out the window and sigh
Because you’re not there
I walk down the street and cry
Because you’re not there
I sit on the couch and frown
Because you’re not there
I remember the day I find out when you would no longer be here
Daddy sat me on the couch
His eyes looked sad
He looked at me and said you were gone
I remember I didn’t feel the pain
I was too young
Now I feel the pain
Now I cry
Now I sigh
But I feel it is too late
Forgive me
Forgive me from your death
Because you’re not there
I walk down the street and cry
Because you’re not there
I sit on the couch and frown
Because you’re not there
I remember the day I find out when you would no longer be here
Daddy sat me on the couch

He looked at me and said you were gone
I remember I didn’t feel the pain

Now I feel the pain

Forgive me from your death
The Loves of My Life
dedicated to my brother and sister
I wake up in the morning and see his face
His eyes are a light green
His hair is a shiny yellow
He is my love and my life
When he makes a joke his eyes sparkle
His eyes sparkle a lot
His yellow hair shines in the sun
He is my love and my life
He is my Brother
I wake up in the Morning and see her face
Her eyes are a light green
Her hair is like gold
Her skin is as smooth as a flower’s petal
She is the love of my life
When she smiles everything seems alright
Everything seems fine when I’m with her
Her Skin is like a tan in the summer
She is my love and my life
She is my sister
I wake up in the morning and see his face
His eyes are a light green
His hair is a shiny yellow
He is my love and my life
When he makes a joke his eyes sparkle
His eyes sparkle a lot
His yellow hair shines in the sun
He is my love and my life
He is my Brother
I wake up in the Morning and see her face
Her eyes are a light green
Her hair is like gold
Her skin is as smooth as a flower’s petal
She is the love of my life
When she smiles everything seems alright
Everything seems fine when I’m with her
Her Skin is like a tan in the summer
She is my love and my life
She is my sister
Do you see her?
She swims around
Her blue tail sparkles in the water
Her hair floats around the waves
You think you see her
But do you
Is that her graceful body floating around?
Swimming as if she were a ballerina in the water
Do you see her?
Do you see her lovely face?
It looks as if it was carved from the palest rock
Her lips looked as if they were as red as blood
Her eyes as green as seaweed
Her hair as black as the night sky
Do you see her?
Do you see the mermaid?
Her blue tail sparkles in the water
Her hair floats around the waves
You think you see her
But do you
Is that her graceful body floating around?
Swimming as if she were a ballerina in the water
Do you see her?
Do you see her lovely face?

The after life
once again here is a jornal entry for my history jornal.
A few moments ago I died. Now I’m standing here in front of the gods seeing if I’m good enough for the afterlife. I’m glad I have all my limbs. If I didn’t then I would have to go to the afterlife without what ever limb I would be missing. Well if I get into the after life that is. I look around. I’m in a big room. Anubis comes and guides me to a scale. He takes my heart and weighs it. I see Osiris watching me, seeing if I pass. Behind him is his wife Isis I can see in her eyes that she is kind. That is, after all, what she is known for. She is a great role model. She helped her husband get into the afterlife and look at him now, The god of the afterlife. Next to Isis is her sister Nepthyd. Well technically she is Osiris’s sister too, since he and Isis are siblings. In the corner of my eye I see Toth taking notes. I wonder what he is writing. Was my heart too heavy? There are a lot of gods in the Pantheon of gods watching me. I wonder what they are thinking. If I don’t pass they will all see. That would be really embarrassing. Right by Anubis is Ammit. He looks really hungry. I hope I pass. I really don’t what to know what his mouth was like considering the rest of him was really creepy. He is a combination of a crocodile, hippo, and a lion. That is pretty creepy. I also see Horus. He‘s the god of the sky. I can’t believe they are all watching. I’m so nervous. What if I don’t pass? What happens to the people who are fed to Ammit? Do they just live in his stomach for eternity? The weighing is done. Anubis looks at me and brings me to Osiris. I passed! I am going to the afterlife! I wonder what it is like. No one really knows until they go. I bet it is wonderful. I leave the living world behind and enter the afterlife.

Murex snail
Trader
Announcer: Its time for your favorite cooking show filmed right by the Mediterranean Sea. The Phoenicians Cooking show
Host: (enters with a big exaggerated smile) Hello and welcome to The Phoenicians Cooking Show. Today we will be making purple dye. Here are the things you need to make this dye. A murex snail, something to crush the snail, something to mix the snail, well you get the picture. Okay let’s start. First take the murex snail and something to crush it. Also get a bowl to crush it in.
(Host takes hammer and is ready to crush the snail)
Murex snail: (said as the host is dramatically and slowly smashing the hammer) noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
(Suddenly screen goes blank and you here a faint beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep)
Announcer: sorry but this is too violent for children so for your convenience we skipped to the next step, and now back to our show
(Goes back to the show you see a dead snail in a bowl oozing purple blood)
Host: As you can see the Murex snail produces a magnificent purple, which is quite rare for a dye. This color is usually used for royalty. Anyway next we stir the snail till it gets extremely liquidy but before you do that you should probably take out the shell.
(Host starts stirring the snail)
Announcer: several moments later
(Host is standing there with a bowl of purple dye)
Host: well as you can see our snail has turned into a beautiful dye. This dye can be used for…
(Trader comes in and interrupts)
Trader: uhh hello, you promised me some dye. Do you have it yet?
Host: (to trader) oh yes here. (Gives him the bole full of dye.) Like I was saying before I was interrupted this dye can be used for trade. Because the color purple in a dye is so rare it is worth a lot. Well that’s all the time we have today see you next time on…..

The Cycle of the Scribes
i wrote this for my jornal in history. hope you enjoy it
He studied for years. He learned the symbols. He practiced and practiced. He started off small. One symbol at a time. He learned a lot his first year studying, because he was good at memorization, but he knew he still had a lot to learn. He was born to a common family, but since he was so good at memorization his family knew he should become a scribe. He trained hard and finally after years of training he was ready. He knew practically all the three thousand symbols. He could now write poems and stories. He got a job keeping records for trade. He kept down how many crops or other useful things one had. In his spare time he wrote poems. He would carefully use his tools to make a wedge in the mud brick. After a while he grew older. A young boy who was very good at memorization came to him. He taught the boy one symbol at a time, he taught him how to put the wedge in his mud brick, and how to keep records. He taught him for a year. The boy knew many symbols but there was still a lot to learn. He trained the boy hard and finally after years of training the boy became a scribe the boy helped with the taxes. He kept records of what people owed and in his spare time he wrote prayers. But eventually he also became older and started teaching a young child. He taught the child one symbol at a time. The child learned a lot his first year, but he still had a lot to learn. Finally after years of training the child began to write records. He wrote what was happening in his town, when the floods came, and eventually he taught a boy.

The Journey in the Cell
i wrote this for bio class. it's not that great.
Once upon a time there was a little girl. One day she found a microscope. It was a very special microscope. This microscope let you shrink down so small that you could travel through a human cell. She decided to try it. When she shrunk she was sent to a little ship that was on top of the microscope. She got in and saw a cell under the slide. Because she was so small the cell looked huge. She traveled to the cell. She tried to get through the cell wall but it was too strong. “How do I get past this” she asked herself. She looked around the ship and saw a button that said push here to get through the wall. She pressed it and suddenly found herself inside the cell. It was amazing she saw little balls floating around. She wondered what they were. She looked around the ship again and found a book with the title the identifier. She found out that those were called Ribosome’s. She looked around more and saw something that looked like macaroni that made her a little hungry. The macaroni was leading to something that looked sort of like a maze. She checked her book and found out the macaroni was smooth endoplasmic reticulum and the maze was rough endoplasmic reticulum. She was getting hungry considering the macaroni looking smooth endoplasmic reticulum she decided to look at a couple more things. She followed the maze and saw a giant looking ball in the middle of the cell. She went towards it and saw that it was covered in holes. She looked in her book and found out it was part of the Nucleus. The holes were called nuclear pores, and the rest was called the nuclear envelope. She also found out if she went in she would see the nucleolus and chromatin. She was about to go in when all of the sudden she heard a faint “beep, beep, beep,” she looked around to see where it was coming from, but couldn’t find it. Suddenly she woke up. It was all a dream. She felt something hard under her head. She looked under her pillow and found her science book.
