Who I am

You think i don't listen
That i am in my own world
You think i just jump around
And do little twirls
But i am more then what you think
I am more then what you see
For i know all your secrets
And who you want to be

When you talk and vent
And i am in the room
I don't just stare about
I listen to you
You barely even notice
That i sitting there
I might just be starring into space
Or playing with my hair

I am not what you think
I am more then what you see
For i know all your secrets
And who you will be

Bedtime Flight

What would it be like to fly
To gracefully dance with the wind
Wings flapping
Gravity is miles away
The birds are your friends
The clouds are your bed
The air is your blanket
The scenery
Your dream

The Eraser

I found an eraser
And i thought
I wanted to erase the pimple on my nose
Then i thought more and decided i wanted to erase the scars on my legs
I thought again and wanted to erase the curly hairs that were on my head
Then i had another idea
The birthmark on my cheek should also be gone
Also there is a some skin that looks darker on my shoulder
If i do that i should probably erase the freckles on my cheeks as well
I thought some more
And thought of more things i would like to erase
Then i realized
I was erasing myself

The Gypsy Mermaid

She twirls around in the sea
Her hair flows around with the veil
She flips her tail as she dances
Making waves and bubbles as well
Her cloths sparkle just like her eyes
Just like the sea
Just like the waves
She looks so pretty
Its hypnotizing
As she dances
Like a gypsy

The Eagle

This is a poem i wrote for history class, i hope you enjoy it

Oh how we searched
Oh how we sought
For that special eagle
The gods did want

That was where we must settle
The gods did say
By the eagle on a cactus eating a snake

We looked all around
Us Aztecs we did
We searched up and down looking for it

When finally we found it
That special eagle
On an island, on a lake
Oh how unlucky we feel

Now we are faced with a different problem
How do we build on top of the water

We had an idea
A great one in fact
On top of the water we will make rafts

On top of the raft we will put the soil
Were we can grow many things we can later boil

That will be our special land
Were us Aztecs will always stand

Nero

i wrote this poem for history class, hope you like it.

He was emperor of Rome
In the arts he did roam

He was bloody and a mess
When he kicked his mother to death

He killed his aunt as well
With fatal laxative she said farewell

Two wives have also seen death
One was executed and lost her head

When Rome was on Fire he was not there
Build a palace on that land
He declared

When finally Rome had had enough
He killed himself with a cut

"What an artist dies with me"
Were his last words you see

Jewish Life; A Holacaust Story

Her name was Chaya, meaning life.
The Natzis took that away from her.
They killed most of her family
Only her little sister, Miriam, was left.
Gassed, shot, starved, who knows how the rest perished

After the horror and fright she married a young man, Yehuda, meaning Jew.
They took back Chaya's name when they had twins.
They moved to America to put their names to use.
They had more children,
And those children had children,
And even some of those children
And one day i will carry on the name of Jewish life

This is based of my great grandparents who went through the Holocaust. the Natzis tried to take away Chaya's life but in the end she, with Yehuda, made a big, Jewish, Religious family.
